Viralboard, operated by Hudson AI LLC, provides social-media analytics dashboards for account owners, teams, and organizations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

We collect account and workspace information such as your name, email address, team membership, billing status, subscription tier, preferences, and support communications. We also collect social-media account handles or profile URLs that you choose to track in Viralboard.

If you connect a TikTok account through TikTok OAuth, TikTok may provide Viralboard with identifiers and profile information for the authorized account, including open ID, username, display name, avatar, bio, profile link, verification status, follower count, following count, total likes, video count, and public video information such as video IDs, descriptions, timestamps, share URLs, view counts, like counts, comment counts, and share counts. We store TikTok access and refresh tokens encrypted on our servers so we can refresh analytics for the account you authorized.

If you connect an Instagram professional account through Instagram Login, Instagram may provide Viralboard with account identifiers, username, display name, account type, biography, profile image, follower and following counts, media count, owned media and media metadata, and owner-authorized media insights such as views, plays, saves, and shares. We store Instagram access tokens encrypted on our servers so we can refresh analytics for the account you authorized.

Viralboard may also collect public TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook profile, post, and comment data for accounts that users choose to track, including data obtained through third-party data providers. We use this data to calculate rankings, engagement, follower trends, and comment insights. Public data collected independently of an official account connection is kept separate from owner-authorized connection data.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate Viralboard, authenticate users, connect authorized social accounts, sync analytics, generate dashboards, process subscriptions, provide support, secure the service, prevent abuse, and improve product reliability.

Viralboard uses its current TikTok and Instagram permissions for read-only analytics. We do not use these permissions to publish or delete content, edit social-media accounts, send messages, manage comments, or take other actions on a connected account. If we add an action-oriented feature in the future, we will clearly request the additional permission before using it.

How We Share Information

We share information with service providers that help us run Viralboard, such as authentication, hosting, database, analytics, payment, email, data provider, and AI processing vendors. These providers are allowed to process information only as needed to provide services to Viralboard. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

We do not sell personal information, social-platform access tokens, or authorized account data.

Data Retention

We retain account, billing, workspace, analytics, and synchronization records for as long as needed to provide Viralboard, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. We retain an official connection and its encrypted token while the connection is active or until the token expires, is revoked, or is deleted.

When Meta sends Viralboard a valid Instagram deauthorization or data-deletion request, we delete the Instagram connection, its stored access token, and snapshots and rollups sourced through the official Instagram connection. Public social-media information collected independently of that authorization may remain as part of a workspace's historical analytics until the tracked account or workspace data is removed or a deletion request is completed.

Your Choices

You can stop tracking social-media accounts in Viralboard, revoke TikTok or Instagram authorization in the applicable platform settings, cancel your subscription, or ask us to delete your account data. Instagram also sends Viralboard automated deauthorization and data-deletion requests when you use Meta's corresponding controls. Some records may be retained where required for billing, security, legal compliance, or fraud prevention.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypting stored social-platform access and refresh tokens and restricting access to authorized workspace members. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

Viralboard is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children. Do not use Viralboard if you are not old enough to use online services in your jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date or provide additional notice where appropriate.
